Every horsewoman has a beginning. This could be yours.

Have you always felt drawn to horses but aren't sure where to start? Maybe you've dreamed of owning a horse, are curious about rescue and adoption, or simply want to understand these incredible animals on a deeper level.

The Horsewoman's Beginning is an intimate, hands-on experience designed for women who are curious about horses, regardless of their experience or background.

Join us at Unbridled Tennessee for a day of learning, connection, and meaningful conversations as we explore the world of horses through a relationship-first approach to horsemanship.

This isn't your traditional riding lesson or classroom clinic. It's an opportunity to slow down, walk the pastures, meet our herd, ask questions, and discover what a journey with horses might look like for you.

What We'll Explore

Walk the Pastures
Spend time among our herd, learn their individual stories, observe herd dynamics, and discover how horses communicate and build relationships.

Horsemanship Foundations
Learn the basics of horse behavior, body language, handling, safety, and care. We'll introduce the principles of building trust, establishing communication, and developing a partnership with a horse.

Finding the Right Horse
Considering horse ownership someday? We'll discuss what to look for when choosing a horse, understanding different breeds and temperaments, evaluating your experience and goals, and navigating the responsibilities and realities of ownership.

Rescue, Adoption & Second Chances
Explore the world of horse rescue and adoption, including the rewards, challenges, and considerations involved in giving a horse a second chance. Learn about our work with rescued horses and mustangs and the importance of thoughtful, responsible partnerships.

Farmhouse Lunch & Conversation
Gather around the table for a delicious farmhouse-style lunch, meaningful conversation, and time to ask the questions you've always wanted to ask about horses and the horse world.

Who Is This Experience For?

This gathering is especially designed for women who:

  • Have always loved horses but don't know where to begin.

Your Journey Doesn't Have to End Here

For women who discover they'd like to continue learning, we'll introduce our Horse & Rider Partnership Pathway, offering opportunities for further education, hands-on horsemanship, and individualized guidance as you explore your next steps.

Whether your journey leads to horse ownership, volunteering with rescues, pursuing lessons, or simply gaining a greater appreciation for horses, we want you to leave feeling informed, encouraged, and confident about where to begin.
