I have had Maki Roll for about a month now. So far, we have worked on building trust and bonding with each other, as well as introducing the halter. Today Maki and I worked with the halter. I focused on desensitizing her to the movement of my hand. She was scared at first, but gradually became used to the movement. She consistently came up to me and ate out of my bucket with the halter in it. She also ate out of my hand a fair amount, and followed me when I shook the bucket. We made some great progress today. I am very proud of Maki.
